Bryan, a partner at Mulholland & Sutlive, LLC, believes in the value of intense preparation and focused teamwork to solve client problems in litigation – an approach he learned in his many years as a competitive athlete and high school teacher.
“When a client comes to me with a problem, I have found that educating and involving the client about the process of litigation is an invaluable asset…an engaged client becomes part of our litigation team, not just the subject of the litigation,” says Bryan, who served as a judicial law clerk for two judges and practices as a litigation associate focusing on personal injury, defective products, commercial collections and other civil matters.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Bryan is the son of an orthopedic physician and a physical therapist, with siblings who are anesthesiologists, occupational therapists and nurses. While he jokes that he is the “black sheep” of his family for not pursuing a career in medicine, Bryan believes that having spent his life exposed to and involved with medicine offers him a unique perspective into his clients’ medical issues and needs regarding treatment.
Bryan attended St. Pius X High School in Atlanta, where he was a standout basketball and state champion soccer player. After high school, Bryan attended the University of Georgia, and then worked as a high school English teacher in Atlanta for several years. He attended law school at The University of Dayton School of Law in Ohio, where he obtained his J.D. degree. Bryan was admitted to the practice of law in Georgia in 2014.
In his free time, Bryan enjoys playing golf, woodworking, and spending time with his friends and family. During basketball season, you can catch Bryan on the court at St. Pius X, where he coaches the 8th grade boys’ basketball team.
